Meeting-time method
A useful meeting time must survive three checks: the selected instant exists, every attendee sees the expected local date, and the full meeting stays inside acceptable hours. Named time zones make those checks date-aware.
Daylight-saving offsets depend on the calendar date. The same New York and London clock times can be four or five hours apart in different weeks.
A late meeting in the source zone may already be tomorrow elsewhere. Each result shows its own weekday and date so that boundary is visible.
The planner evaluates the whole meeting, not only its start. A 60-minute call beginning at the end of the workday is therefore marked outside working hours.
Yes. It uses the selected date and named time zones, so seasonal clock changes are included instead of assuming a fixed UTC offset.
During a spring clock change, some local times are skipped. The planner flags that case and asks you to choose a valid time rather than silently moving the meeting.
